ROCKVILLE, MDAs we celebrate Lewis Carroll’s 184th birthday on January 27, Classic Booklovers would like to announce our new arrival Alice in Wonderland posters and t-shirts – including the ever charming Cheshire Cat.

Born in 1832, Lewis Carroll is actually the pen name for Charles Lutwidge Dodgson – a mathematician and gifted writer renowned for his word play and whimsical writings, including the ever-popular Through the Looking Glass. The celebrated author died in 1898 just shy of his 65th birthday.

Last year marked the 150th anniversary celebration of Alice in Wonderland. Since then, there have been many adaptations in books, plays, and art. And how could we forget John Tenniel’s amazing illustrations that are still popular today.

So cheers to the beloved Alice, Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter and the imaginative mind of Lewis Carroll.
